Top 5 Recent Food Favs

I love discovering new food products and there are so many out there that it can be hard to sort through them all to figure out what is actually healthy and what isn't so I decided to do the work for you!

Here are some of my food favourites this month...

Rebel Mylk Green Tea Matcha Latte

A great way to fuel your morning, day or night with a drink containing no refined sugars or caffeine. With the matcha you are ingesting the whole leaf 10 times higher in antioxidants than green tea, therefore playing a huge role in detoxifying the body. It also aids in memory and concentration and due to the removal of toxins this aids in an increase of fat matabolisation. It has been used in the east for many years by the Buddhists and such to help calm them while staying alert due to its L-Theanine contents also aiding immune health. Not only do dates taste pleasant but they are a good source of natural sugar and generate slow-release energy. Just rememeber to shake it on up before you enjoy the deliciousness!

Pip & Nut Nut Butter squeeze pack

So handy for on the go to give you an instant nut burst! The taste is to die for and they're perfect for popping into your handbag or into packed lunches.

Quinoa Flakes

Quinoa is a natural source of protein and these flakes are great for breakfast in pancakes or porridge and also perfect for baking!

Punch Foods Superseeds

These are brilliant for sprinkling onto salads, soups, curries or anything! They can also be eaten straight from the pot. They're my new favourite and are 100% organic, gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan friendly!

Coconut Merchant Coconut Jam

Coconut jam is a real thing. What a time to be alive. It's smooth and caramel sweet and is made from 100% coconuts with nothing else added. It can be used to spread on breads, biscuits or if you're feeling greedy, straight from the jar. One taste and you'll be hooked!

Top 3 Kitchen Equipment Recommendations

Having a good set of kitchen equipment is essential and makes life so much easier when cooking. I've tried a bunch of different products over the last few years and it's all about functionality and ease of use whilst finding something that won't break the bank! It's tricky as sometimes it's best to splash the cash on something that will last for years and years without letting you down rather than having to regularly replace cheap products.

Food Processor

A food processor is the number one healthy food kitchen must have!

It can do it all. Nut butters, purees, hummus, raw desserts... You name it.

Check out the Kenwood Food Proscessor here. It's not too expensive and really easy to use!

Blender

A blender is another kitchen essential if you're looking to get your healthy on.

Why get a belnder? They're perfect for smoothies, soups and ice cream!

Have a look at the Vonshef blender here which is great quality at a great price.

Slow Cooker

Slow cookers are amazing and such a useful addition to any kitchen! They're perfect for the winter weather to have warm meals to come home to.

I have an old one that's been passed down from my mum but I've heard great things about the Andrew James slow cooker. To find out more, check it out here
