Hazelnut Hot Chocolate
Baby, it's cold outside so now is the perfect time to warm up to a homemade Hazelnut Hot Chocolate!
There is nothing more satisfying than watching a movie wrapped up in a cosy blanket with a log fire burning and a mug of hot chocolate warming you up. Now I'm not talking about the powdery shop-bought stuff. No, no, no. None of that thank you. I can't even pronounce half of the ingredients in those! I'm talking about homemade, indulgently rich and silky smooth hot chocolate.
Imagine your cosiest blanket in beverage form. I'm pretty sure it would taste something like this.
Go nuts for this heavenly hazelnut hot chocolate recipe. Once you get a taste of it, you'll never look back!
Ingredients
250ml hazelnut milk
1 tbsp hazelnut butter
2 tbsps cacao powder
2 tbsps honey or maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Method
Heat all the ingredients together in a small saucepan on a low heat for around 8-10 minutes. Make sure to stir occasionally. Sieve before serving unless you like the nuts in there.
Then hold your hot chocolate in a strange way by balancing it on your palm and cupping it firmly underneath. What on earth am I doing? I have never held hot chocolate like this before.
