Gluten-Free Fudge

Fudge tends to be made with refined sugar, butter and milk. This recipe contains none of the above. But do not fear, it is still sticky, sweet and creamy - just the way fudge should be.

Little ones can get stuck in with this recipe too!

It's so easy to adapt to include any more-ish additions that you so wish.

Buying a gift for any occasion can be difficult sometimes. If you want to avoid the cliche of socks, chocolates or flowers then show you care with a box of homemade fudge for someone special.

Whilst making these, you can also munch away at them too... and trust me you will definitely want to!

80g dates

70g chickpea flour

3 tbsps coconut oil

1 tbsp coconut sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1. Melt the coconut oil in a saucepan and add the chickpea flour, coconut sugar and vanilla extract.

2. Blend the above mixture and dates together in a blender or a food processor

3. Once it has formed a dough, roll out and then fit into moulds or if you don't have moulds then roll into balls or different shapes!

Keep this fudge recipe a secret and family and friends will think you spent forever making it.
