WELCOME TO OM NOM HEALTH

IMG_8425.JPG

I work with:

  • Companies seeking to improve their products as well as the health of their employees

  • Groups with online group programmes, healthy eating workshops, cookery demonstrations and health retreats

  • Individuals and families with appointments available online

  • The media as a health writer and nutrition expert

My journey towards a healthier and happier way of living was triggered by struggles with my own health. Eating and living well completely changed my life.

I initially undertook three years of training at The College Of Naturopathic Medicine in London and then went on to further my studies at Bournemouth University where I received an MSc in Nutrition and Behaviour. During this time, I learnt so much which fuelled my passion even further. Whilst studying I also trained as a meditation teacher and brain health practitioner.

Being able to offer this support alongside my nutrition means that if, and when appropriate, I am able to offer support at all levels, creating a truly holistic approach to my client's health and wellbeing.

MY STORY

Now I want to share that learning with you. As someone who has struggled with health, I can empathise when things get tough. Just telling someone to change isn't always enough. Everyone need support, reassurance and guidance.

My life is quite different to how it used to be. I practice self-care and don't feel guilty about it, I eat well but I'm not strict on myself, I work hard but make sure I have fun, I meditate, I exercise when I want to and I prioritise sleep.

I believe balance is the key - you have to enjoy life.

I'm practical and realistic in my approach and I'm not going to ask you to overhaul your entire life, but make simple changes that can help you. Eating well is not about calorie counting or depriving yourself of things you like - that would be miserable. It’s about making food enjoyable whilst giving the body the nourishment it needs.  Even if you have a hectic lifestyle, a food intolerance or a limited budget, you can still eat well. Every time we eat we have the opportunity to improve our health.

My aim is to help make long-term improvements to your health. I love what I do and I hope my passion inspires others.
