So this week I have been asked by a wonderful friend of mine for some smoothie recipes. So I thought I'd share a bunch of my easy and go-to recipes for you all to enjoy!
Smoothies are my favourite. You can't help but love a smoothie. There's so much to love as well. Minimum fuss, so much goodness and just a complete and utter taste sensation in just a cup. It's enough to bring a tear of joy to even the most hardcore fast food worshipper.
Keep the fruit ripe (better for digestion for anyone with tummy issues!) and get a load of fresh veggie goodness in there.
Homemade smoothies are the bomb. Don't believe me? Try one of these guys and then come back and tell me that.

Now this guy has more than 300 nutritional compounds and is one of the richest sources of antioxidants of any food on the planet. It's full of magnesium and has been found to help regulate blood pressure and reduce cholesterol while building the immune system. Win!
Now let's not forget the green goddess that is Spirulina. We'll pretend that we don't know that it's actually green algae because it's pretty special. It's packed full of calcium, niacin, potassium, magnesium, B Vitamins and iron. Also bursting with amino acids. Green goddess indeed.
